What is Master and how does it work?

Masters is a central repository for creating and managing reusable data. It allows data to be used across multiple events. Includes categories such as:

  • Department: A master list of all departments within your organization. This allows you to tag events to specific departments for easy tracking and reporting.

  • Unit: A master list of measurement units (e.g., kg, pieces, liters). This ensures all users are using a standardized set of units, preventing confusion.

  • Product: A master catalog of all products or services your organization procures or sells. This provides a consistent and accurate way to list items in events.

  • Terms & Conditions: A repository for standard legal or commercial terms. You can quickly apply pre-written terms to new events without having to draft them each time.

  • Organization: A master list of all organizations, including your own and your business partners. This helps in managing a clear and consistent directory.

  • People Directory: A master list of all users and their roles within your organization. This simplifies the process of assigning permissions and responsibilities.

Creating these masters once saves time. You can quickly add these predefined masters to new events. This eliminates the need to re-enter the same information every time.
