How to read and interpret competition metrics?

Modified on Sat, 4 Oct at 4:19 PM

The platform provides key metrics to help you understand your position in a live auction. You should focus on the following:

  • Your Current Rank: This is the most critical metric.

    • In a Reverse Auction, a rank of L1 means you currently have the lowest (and therefore best) bid. L2 is the second-lowest, and so on.

    • In a Forward Auction, a rank of H1 means you have the highest (and therefore best) bid. H2 is the second-highest.

  • Number of Bidders: This tells you how many other participants are competing in the auction.

  • Time Remaining: This is a live countdown that shows you how much time is left to place your bids.

  • Total Bid Value: This gives you a quick overview of the current highest or lowest bid.

By monitoring these metrics, you can make informed decisions about your bidding strategy and stay competitive.
